COFELY Services and Kelvin Emtech Announce the Creation of COFELY KE
COFELY Services and Kelvin Emtech are pleased to announce the creation of COFELY KE, a joint venture owned equally by its two shareholders. This new entity will provide operation and maintenance services targeting the Uptime and the Efficiency of Mission-Critical Facilities.
The purpose of this joint venture is to combine Kelvin Emtech’s expertise in the design and optimization of electromechanical infrastructures for data centers with COFELY’s world class know-how in the operation and maintenance of critical sites (more than 200,000 m2 internationally).
The creation of COFELY KE regroups experienced specialists using strict interventions protocols already tested on many critical sites in the world.
More specifically, COFELY KE will provide to data centers managers flexible solutions for the maintenance, operation and energy optimization of their electromechanical systems including power and cooling, fire protection and building automation systems.
With the emergence of larger data centers with higher TIER levels, COFELY KE fills a gap in this sector by offering new outsourcing options for critical sites owners and managers.
The head office will be located in Montreal with access to the two shareholders’ Canadian and U.S. regional offices. Activities officially begin on September 17 with the participation at the Data Center Innovation Expo, which will be held at Le Palais des congrès de Montréal. Messrs. Michel Chartier, of Kelvin Emtech, and Pierre Lapointe, of COFELY Services will coordinate the kickoff of this new venture.
